The Banstead Harvey MC10 Hydroclave Sterilizer is an excellent autoclave option for your office or lab. The MC10 operates under by heating water to steam in a pressurized environment. This process disinfects the items that are placed into the sterilizer. Some items that can be sterilized in the MC10 are liquids, unwrapped instruments, linen packs, and even glassware.
The MC10 features four sterilizing cycles for each of the above named items, with glassware being sterilized under the “liquids” setting. There is a lot of variability offered with the MC10. The user can adjust such things as drying times, printing records of temperature and pressure during the cycle, the clock is adjustable between standard and 24-hour time, and you even have the option of displaying messages in English, German, Spanish, or French. Non-recirculating discharge of steam is also an option for the MC10. There is an automatic closed door drying and an optional open door drying feature, and the cycle begins with the push of a button. The temperature inside the chamber can be displayed in Celsius or Fahrenheit, and the temperature is shown continuously while the cycle is in progress.
The process of running the MC10 is quite simple as well. You simply turn the sterilizer on, fill with liquid to the fill line, place your items in the chamber, shut the door and lock by sliding the handle down. Next, you pick your format of liquids, unwrapped instruments, or linen packs, then hit start.
